I am so lucky to have come across Bookkeeper Business Launch (BBL). You see, I had just finished my Bachelor’s degree in Education when I found out that I was pregnant with my first child. I realized that I wanted to be able to stay home with her and set my own hours, and I wouldn’t be able to do that as an Art teacher in a traditional public school system.
I had always LOVED numbers, but I fell in love with budgeting after taking Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University class at church. That’s when I decided to get my Master’s degree in Accounting.
I wanted to be able to take accounting classes online while my daughter was small, so I looked into different options based on their accreditation and affordability.
That’s when I stumbled upon BBL!
My husband had told me months earlier that he thought that I would be a good bookkeeper. He had found BBL when we were looking into different ways to bring in extra income to save for our down-payment on our first home. I had brushed it off at the time because I was so busy with my teaching internship, and then I had forgotten about it completely!
It felt like fate that I had stumbled upon it again! It was a big, scary investment, but it has been the best move that I have ever made! I LOVE being a bookkeeper! I love the life that I’ve been able to create for myself!

Incredible Preparation through BBL Certification
Rest assured that I have been through strenuous training in order to serve you as a bookkeeper. BBL taught me all the principles I needed to know (and tested me on those principles) but I had to pass more than just a knowledge exam in order to get my BBL certification. A Practical Exam was given (that I had to pass with a 100%!) in order to get my badge! First, I set up a business account in Quickbooks Online. Then, I had to classify transactions, create journal entries, and run reports to see if I got the right numbers. Every single entry and number had to be correct in order to pass. Every aspect of Quickbooks Online was covered– assets, loans, invoices, expenses, depreciation, interest, and more!
Quickbooks Online Certified ProAdvisor
In addition to getting my BBL certification, I am also a Quickbooks Online Certified ProAdvisor! Quickbooks Online is my JAM!! The software is so robust already, and I am so excited about all of the improvements that are being made constantly! I know Quickbooks Online inside and out and am in the software daily working for my other clients.
