… and God took care of me!
Ever since Business Boutique 2018, I was dying to have a vendor booth at Business Boutique 2019!
I was watching the website like a hawk to be the first one to sign up. I was dreaming about what my booth would look like, and saving money wherever I could to be able to pay for it.
I had a budget in place and expected it to be around $900 since the booths in 2018 were around $800.
Then, a Business Boutique representative called and said it would $3,000, because I was going to have a service booth, which was different from a vendor booth.
When I was on the phone with her, my husband walked through the door after just having gone to a doctors appointment. When I hung up, he told me it was possible that he had thyroid cancer and had a thyroidectomy scheduled two-weeks away.
$3,000 was a lot of money, but we also knew there were going to be a lot of medical bills coming our way.
We talked and prayed about it, and I decided that God put this desire to have a booth on my heart for a reason. If we went for it and took that leap, I knew He would take care of us and we would be okay.
I paid the $3,000, and I kid you not, the VERY NEXT DAY my husband got a bonus check. He has NEVER gotten a mid-year bonus before, and we had no idea it was coming. It completely covered the cost of the booth and our medical bills. (We ended up having more than we thought because he had to have TWO surgeries, and he does have thyroid cancer, so there were more follow-up procedures as well.)
I firmly believe that where God guides, He provides.
