What is a Free Review of Your Books?

I have the words “Get a FREE Review of Your Books” plastered all over my website, but what does this mean? What do you GET with a free review of your books? What IS it?

These are the steps to my onboarding process to help you understand what a free review of your books is, and if it’s the right move for you:

Step 1: Schedule

Follow the link on my website to my calendar. There, you will see a list of available times and dates. You can choose the best time for you. Calls are normally 30 minutes at the most.

Step 2: Phone Call

A team member, such as Emily, will call you at the time/date you requested.

During this phone call, Emily will ask questions to learn more about your business. She will use this information to match you with the perfect bookkeeper for your needs. Emily will tell you about the free video review, and help you take next steps.

Step 3: Video Review

A bookkeeper, such as Cassandra, will do a video review of your books. Cassandra will go through everything at a bird’s eye view and see what needs to be fixed. This information will be in both document and video form for you to look back on whenever you need to.

At the end of the video review/document, there is a quote to let you know how much it will cost for us to clean up your books and/or monthly on-going services.

Step 4: Engagement Letter

When we send you your video review/document, you will also receive a link to sign an engagement letter. This is not a long-term contract and you can cancel at any time, but you do agree to owe one more month’s payment after the date you notify us that you want to cancel.

All of the steps above are completely free to you. Until you sign the engagement letter, you are not technically a client. We do not make any changes to your books, and we do not charge for the time we put in for the phone call, video review, or quote.
